BOSE - ORBIT - NOT A MACHINE
Research and Development
In collaboration with Berlin-based sound design studio Not a Machine, together we developed a motion system to pitch the project for Bose and Volvo’s partnership on the Volvo EX90 in 2022.
The goal was to create an audiovisual experience that highlights the integration of the Bose sound system within the vehicle — activated when the car or entertainment system starts.
At the heart of the concept is "Orbit": a journey into the Bose sound universe. The startup animation triggers a unique soundscape accompanied by a particle trail visualizer that evokes cosmic travel through nebulas and sound clouds — a metaphor for entering the immersive Bose audio space.
This motion concept transforms the user into an astronaut and the sound system into a rocket — launching toward the Bose Sound Orbit.
